EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 11, 2025) – Looking to get into the win column for the first time in 2025-26, Mount St. Mary's women's basketball challenges Buckell Wednesday evening in a road contest.
THE LAST TIME OUT

- As a unit the team forced 24 Panthers turnovers, turning those takeaways into 21 points.
- Despite the loss, it was the program's best effort against a Power 4 opponent since a 14-point defeat by the 2013-14 team at Boston College.
- Gabrielle Kennerly notched 20 points – her first such effort since a 25-point showing against Fairleigh Dickinson last November. Alana Powell added 10 points to reach double figures. Teodora Ivanovic registered six rebounds.
- Giana Hoddinott matched her career best for assists with six dimes, and Powell set a new career high in steals with three swipes.
SCOUTING BUCKNELL
- The Bison come into the meeting also seeking their first win, with losses to Power 4 opponents Penn State and Virginia.
- Against the Nittany Lions and Cavaliers, Bucknell averaged 45 points per game while conceding an average over 80.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES
- Wednesday marks the 12th meeting between the Mount and Bucknell. Although the Mountaineers boast the all-time record, 7-4, the Bison have won four of the last five meetings. This includes a 63-47 win last year in Lewisburg.
