EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 17, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's women's rugby host West Chester on Saturday, October 18 for their penultimate Echo Field match of the year on Senior day. The Mountaineers will honor eight senior members of the team in a re-game ceremony for their contributions to Mount women's rugby over the last four years.
MOUNT UPDATE
Against Frostburg State on October 5, the Mountaineers found themselves up 21-0 at halftime while in the mountains of western Maryland thanks to an opening try from
Victoria Holmes, with
Olivia Harju sliding a conversion kick through the post for an early 7-0 lead. Harju was called out once again to make a conversion kick after
Anita Manglona scored the Mount second try of the day.
Olivia Woodward got on the score sheet before halftime for a 19-0 lead with an insuring conversion make from Harju sending the Mount into the halftime break up big.
Woodward scored again to start the second half followed by tries from Zy'Quaria Climons and
Koda Hall to put substantial room between the Mountaineer and Bobcats. Climons scored again followed by a try from
Josie Schussler and a conversion kick from
Riley Sibilia, rounding out a 52-10 win for the Mountaineers.
In total, Woodward and Climons scored two tries a piece against Frostburg State while Holmes Manglona, Hall, and Schussler combine for one try each on the day. Harju went 5/7 on conversions after the try while Sibilia went 1/1 on conversion kicks.

SCOUTING THE RAMS
Through five games of the 2025 fall XV's season, West Chester has accumulated a record of 3-2, with wins against Davenport, New Haven, and Emory & Henry. Losses for the Rams include a 66-8 loss to American International and a close 37-27 loss to Bowdoin.
ALL-TIME RECORD
The Rams hold a 5-1 record over the Mountaineers, with Mount St. Mary's only win coming on April 29, 2021 in the form of a 24-10 win on Echo Field.
