EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 25, 2026) – Competing in the Collegiate Rugby Association of America (CRAA) 7's National Championship, Mount St. Mary's fell to two programs Saturday, facing high-level competition. The Mount dropped a 24-7 decision to Dartmouth, 38-7 against Lindenwood, and 34-5 against Harvard.
HOW THE GAMES UNFOLDED
- Caliann Dietz got the Mount on the right foot, scoring on a restart for the Mount's try against Dartmouth. The Big Green's defense stood up after that, posting 24 unanswered points to take the victory.
- After surrendering two early tries to Lindenwood, Riley Sibilia broke away from the Lions and scored to help pull the Mount with five, 12-7. But that would be the lone try of the match again, and Lindenwood finished on 26 straight.
- Drawing Harvard, the Mountaineers fell behind 27-0. Scrum half Neely Denlinger prevented the shutout after finding the ball again out of a scrum and blasting away from the Crimson defense.
