EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 17, 2025) – Two teams looking to launch themselves into playoff position in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), as Mount St. Mary's men's soccer host the Quinnipiac Bobcats Saturday.
Before kickoff, the Mount honors its senior class as part of Senior Day.

MOUNT UPDATE
A late goal by
Isaiah Garcia gave the Mount another point in the MAAC standings as the team earned a 1-1 draw at Niagara. The goal was the second for Garcia in a Mountaineers uniform. Though at a lull in the standings, Mount St. Mary's stands three points out of a playoff position, with the sixth place team holding seven points.
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
Quinnipiac is also seek a bump up in the standings, with six points and one out of a playoff spot. In their last contest, goals by Sivert Ryssdalsnes and Sindri Sigurjonsson delivered the Bobcats a 2-1 win over Manhattan. They also have a victory in league play over Saint Peter's. Ryssdalsnes has the most points among the Bobcats with 16 – six goals and four assists.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES
Over 17 matches dating to 1998, the Mount has a 9-6-2 overall record. Since MAAC play began, Quinnipiac won a 2022 contest and the teams tied 1-1 in 2023.
LOOKING AHEAD
Next Saturday (Oct. 25), Mount St. Mary's travels to Fairfield to face the Stags. They return home on October 29 to battle Canisius.
