EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 15, 2025) – An 87
th minute goal from redshirt freshman
Isaiah Garcia secured Mount St. Mary's men's soccer a 1-1 draw with the Niagara Purple Eagles on Wednesday.
Taking advantage of a Niagara squad reduced to 10 men, Garcia capitalized on a defensive gap and fired a shot into the left corner of the net. The goal marked the second of Garcia's collegiate career, joining his game-winner against Merrimack on September 21.

The result snaps a two-match losing streak for Mount St. Mary's, which moves to 1-6-5 overall and 1-3-1 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play.
On Saturday (Oct. 18), Mount St. Mary's battles Quinnipiac in a 4 p.m. match. Senior Day festivities take place prior to kickoff.
