EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 9, 2025) – Hoping to make an early statement in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play, Mount St. Mary's men's soccer host Manhattan Saturday. The Mountaineers look to squash a two-match slide in league action.
MOUNT UPDATE
The last 10 minutes snakebit the Mount again in their most recent contest with Sacred Heart. The Pioneers scored in the 81st minute to claim a 1-0 victory and remain unbeaten in MAAC play. It was the lone blemish for a strong Mountaineers defense, which is allowing fewer than two goals per game on average.

Graham Dougald leads the team in goals with two penalty conversions.
SCOUTING THE JASPERS
Manhattan earned its first MAAC win with a 1-0 victory over Merrimack. The Jaspers also have a draw against Rider and a loss to Siena.
Martin Rodriguez leads the team with four goals, while Henry Hamilton has tallied a team-high five assists. Goalkeeper Ludvig Malberg anchors the defense with 46 saves for the season.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES
In three previous meetings between the two programs, Manhattan holds a 2-1 advantage. However, last season, goals from
Maks Czyz and
Graham Dougald secured Mount St. Mary's first win in the series, a 2-1 result.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Mountaineers hit the road on Wednesday (Oct. 15) for a midweek showdown against Niagara in upstate New York.
