EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 11, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's soccer fell to the Manhattan Jaspers, 3-0, in a Saturday afternoon match at Waldron Family Stadium.
All three goals for Manhattan came from the leg of William Fagerberg, who recorded the first hat trick of his collegiate career. The Jaspers also received two assists from Martin Rodriguez, along with one each from Giovanni Rivera and Max Asplin-Rowley.
For the Mountaineers, the team tallied 12 shots, with six on target. Both of
Jack Kehoe's attempts were on goal, while
Maciej Majcherczyk,
Luciano Schiaffini,
Fabian Perez, and
Abou Cherif each contributed one shot on goal.
The loss marks the second straight defeat for the Mount, dropping their record to 1-6-4 overall and 1-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play. Manhattan improves to 3-5-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the MAAC.
The Mount continues conference play next week, traveling to Niagara on Wednesday (Oct. 15), followed by Senior Day at home against Quinnipiac on Saturday (Oct. 18). Kickoff for both matches is set for 4 p.m.
