EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 25, 2024) – Mount St. Mary's freshman Brody Atkinson received the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's (MAAC) Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.
 
Atkinson posted his third career hat trick in the team's 8-7 win over Wagner. He played a role in half of the team's scoring, adding an assist to go along with the three goals. The first-year attack scored twice in the second quarter and added a clutch goal in the fourth to keep the Mountaineers ahead.
 
With 26 points, Atkinson leads the Mountaineers in offensive productivity. His goal count of 16 is also highest on the team, and his 10 assists are second most, one behind Kevin Whitty.
 
Mount St. Mary's has two games this week. The Mountaineers host VMI Wednesday (Mar. 27) at noon and head to Quinnipiac Saturday (Mar. 30).
