MOUNT STORY LINES
- Mount St. Mary's rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to earn a 78-74 win at Miami (Fla.) on December 21. Terrell Ard Jr. scored 18 points while Dola Adebayo added his second career double-double to lead the Mountaineers to the victory.  It was the Mount's first win over an ACC opponent in 29 years. Adebayo's hook shot with just under three minutes left in overtime gave the Mount the lead for good at 72-70. Xavier Lipscomb added a free throw and Javon Ervin hit a pair to make it 75-70, and after Miami cut the deficit to 76-74, Carmelo Pacheco sealed the win with a pair of free throws with 5.5 seconds left.
- Mount St. Mary's holds a 10-7 lead in the all-time series that dates back to 1973. The Mount won the last matchup, 78-76, in overtime on November 18, 2016. Chris Wray's dunk with 1.3 seconds left in overtime lifted the Mount to the dramatic 78-76 win. Wray finished the game with 21 points and 10 rebounds, both career highs.
- Mount St. Mary's is 7-3 in non-conference games this season, the most non-conference wins in a season since the Mount moved to NCAA Division I in 1988-89. The team's 8-4 record is the best start to a season since the 1986-87 team opened the year at 11-1.
- Mount St. Mary's is 7-20 all-time against the Atlantic 10 Conference, with the last victory coming at George Mason (78-76, ot) on November 18, 2016. This will be the Mount's first matchup with an Atlantic 10 opponent since an 80-60 loss at Saint Joseph's on November 13, 2021.
- Terrell Ard Jr. was named the Hercules Tires MAAC Player of the Week on Monday after leading the Mountaineers to wins over Miami (Fla.) and LIU last week, averaging 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals over the two games.  Ard Jr. matched a career high with 18 points in the win over Miami and had 10 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists at LIU.
- Mount St. Mary's has three of the top four players in the MAAC in field goal percentage. Jedy Cordilia leads the circuit at 64.4 percent, Terrell Ard Jr. is third at 54.2 percent and Dola Adebayo is fourth at 51.0 percent.
