MOUNT STORY LINES
  • Mount St. Mary's rallied from a 15-point second half deficit to earn a 93-89 double-overtime win at Bucknell on Wednesday night.  The Mount trailed by 14 with just over eight minutes left in regulation, but used a 22-to-4 run to grab a four-point lead in the final minute.  Bucknell scored the next four points to force overtime.  Jedy Cordilia, who matched his career high with 22 points, scored five in the second overtime as the Mount earned the road victory.  Dallas Hobbs added 19 points as five Mountaineers hit double figures.
  • The Mount's matchup with Saint Francis is part of the Hoya MTE hosted by Georgetown.  In addition to playing the Red Flash on Saturday, the Mount will play at Georgetown on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 8:30 pm in its other game in the MTE.  Georgetown hosts Saint Francis on Saturday, Nov. 23, at noon to round out the event.
  • Mount St. Mary's has won the past five meetings with Saint Francis to take a 54-34 lead in the all-time series.  The Mount owns a 33-12 record at home against their former Northeast Conference rivals.  Mount St. Mary's is 29-7 over the past 36 matchups with the Red Flash dating back to February of 2005.  The Mountaineers earned a 72-65 road win over SFU last season.
  • The Mountaineers are off to a 2-1 start this season, just the third time since the program moved to NCAA Division I in 1988-89 that team has opened the season with a 2-1 record.  The Mount will be looking to move to 3-1 on the year for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
  • The Mount's matchup with Saint Francis will be the 2,800th game in program history.  Mount St. Mary's is 1590-1209 all-time for a 60.8 program winning percentage.  This is the 116th season for the Mountaineers.
  • Jedy Cordilia matched a career high with 22 points in the Mount's win at Bucknell on Wednesday.  Cordilia was 8-for-10 from the floor in the game, and is now shooting 70.0 percent from the field this season.  The senior forward is shooting 58.3 percent from the floor in his career, tied for the fourth-best mark in program history.
  • Up next, the Mount plays at Georgetown on Wednesday, November 20, at 8:30 p.m.  The game will air live on Fox Sports 1.
