Mount St. Mary's v. Bucknell (7:00 p.m.)

EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 31, 2024) – After a tough weekend of MAWPC action in Baltimore and Annapolis, the Mount St. Mary's men's water polo team returns to Emmitsburg for the finale of their home campaign against Bucknell.

Kacper Cieplik, and
Kiahi Horan will be honored before the match in a senior day ceremony.
MOUNT UPDATE
The Mount was handed three tough losses in conference action last weekend as they were defeated by Johns Hopkins 15-13, Navy 15-12 in overtime, and George Washington 17-11.
Alexandros Bellesis scored on seven occasions across the weekend's three games, but exclusion trouble against George Washington limited his play against the Revolutionaries.
Fischer along with
Aaron Tarr,
Chrysostomos Valavanis, and
Gunner Lanquist all scored hat tricks across the weekend's play for the Mount, with Tarr contributing a further eight assists in three games played during the weekend's action.
Vasilije Marinkovic made 28 saves during the weekend, making 14 saves against both Navy and George Washington respectively. Both Marinkovic and Tarr were named to the conference's honor roll for Offensive Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week respectively for their efforts last weekend.
SCOUTING THE BISONS
Bucknell has a 10-13 record with a MAWPC record of 6-5 heading into their final games of conference play. In their last game, the Bisons were handed a 14-13 loss to Navy on Sunday, October 27 after four overtimes were played in Lejeune Hall. Bucknell has come up against some substantially ranked teams this season, with the Bisons facing off against No. 12 UC San Diego, No. 10 Long Beach State, No. 6 Princeton, and No. 11 Harvard.

The Mount is 0-9 against the Bisons, with their last meeting on September 20 ending in an 18-13 victory for the Bisons.
