EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 2, 2024) – After a week's reprieve from conference action at the Bucknell Invitational, the men's water polo team travels out west for a tour of California. They take on Biola and CUI before facing a slate of California Baptist, Loyola Marymount, Air Force, and Pomona-Pitzer at the Gary Troyer Tournament.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
After a difficult week of MAWP Conference opponents in Lewisburg, the Mount has a 2-10 record with a 1-4 conference record.
 
Aaron Tarr recorded 13 assists across three games at the invite while scoring three times. Sherif Hosni and Vasilije Marinkovic combined for 38 saves across the weekend while in between the sticks. And Alexandros Bellesis scored 10 goals across the weekend's three games.
 
The Opponents
 
The Mountaineers are 2-2 against Biola with their last result on September 8 ending in a 15-14 win for the Eagles. At the Gary Troyer Tournament, the Mount takes on California Baptist for the second time in program history, with their last meeting ending in a 25-12 victory for the Lancers in 2022. The last meeting between the Mount and Air Force ended in a 20-8 victory for the Falcons. The tour of California will play host to the Mount's first ever match ups between CUI, Loyola Marymount, and Pomona-Pitzer.
