th minute to lift the Mount to the victory. Graduate student
Taylor Carter, making her first appearances as a Mountaineer, scored on a penalty kick with 5.4 seconds left in the first half to tie the game. The Mount controlled play in the second half, outshooting Hampton, 14-to-4.Â
ABOUT ROBERT MORRIS: Robert Morris enters Wednesday's game with a 5-0-1 record after a 2-2 tie on Sunday against St. Bonaventure. The Colonials opened the year with wins over VMI (3-0), Hampton (1-0), Akron (3-0), Saint Francis U (4-1) and Indiana State (2-1). Lidia Nduka has six goals in the team's six games while Renae Mohrbacher has four goals and three assists for 11 points. Robert Morris has outscored the opposition, 15-to-4, this season. Brenna Murray has played all six games in goal with a 0.67 goals against average and three shutouts.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES WITH ROBERT MORRIS: The Mount and Robert Morris, former Northeast Conference rivals, have met 31 times on the pitch with the Colonials holding a 14-13-4 lead in the all-time series. Last year, the teams played to a 1-1 draw at Robert Morris on August 25. The Mount has a 1-6-2 record against RMU over the past nine matchups. The Mountaineers are 9-6-0 all-time at home against the Colonials.
