EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 18, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's women's soccer completed its 2025 home slate Saturday afternoon, falling 3-0 to the Siena Saints.
The Mountaineers registered 10 shots, including two on goal. Attempts from
Nicole Wilson and
Taylor Simmons were turned aside by Siena goalkeeper Cate Burns. At the defensive end,
Abigail Makela recorded six saves.
Siena scored in the 10
th minute on Briana Neary's fifth goal of the season. Goals two and three came in the second half, with Catherine Rogers posting a 72
nd minute score and Maya Costa earning an 82
nd minute strike.
Before the game began, the Mount honored eight members of the senior class –
Jasmine Sims,
Gabrielle Olibris,
Ines Gama Ferreira, Wilson,
Josie Stockett, Jasmine Sorrell,
Maddie MacDonald, and Simmons.
Mount St. Mary's is 3-12-1 and 1-9-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) after the result. They wrap up the 2025 campaign on the road at Marist next Saturday (Oct. 25).
