EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 15, 2026) – Former Mount St. Mary's goalkeeper
Arden Lembryk rejoins the women's soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026 season.
Lembryk – a Class of 2024 graduate – was a four-year member of the team and played in 31 games for the Mountaineers. Her stats include over 2,400 minutes in the net, 169 saves, and 11 positive results between wins and draws. The highlight of her time in Emmitsburg was the 2023 MAAC Championship First Round game against Niagara when she stepped into the net for the penalty shootout and kept the Purple Eagles out of the net all but once as the Mount advanced.
"It is great to welcome Arden back to her alma mater." Head Coach
Liis Abbott said. "She comes highly respected and regarded by anyone who has had a chance to work with her and will be an exemplary role model and mentor for the girls. We are very lucky to have her back!"
After graduating, Lembryk returned to her home state of New Jersey, spending her graduate season as a reserve for Rutgers. Last season, she jumped to the coaching staff, serving as their Director of Player Development.
Lembryk joins Abbott, who embarks on her second season at the helm of the Mount women's soccer program. Fellow assistant coach
Chuck Hommey is also returning for 2026. Last season, the team went 3-12-2 in the league and 1-9-2 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
