Emmitsburg, Md. (September 13, 2023)—Mount St. Mary's and (930 WFMD - www.wfmd.com - and on the free WFMD mobile app) announced today that they have reached an agreement to broadcast all Mount St. Mary's men's basketball games live on WFMD for the 2023-24 season.

The agreement also includes weekly promos for all games on WFMD and weekly interviews with Mount St. Mary's men's basketball coach Dan Engelstad with Bob Miller on the Morning News Express.
 
"We are thrilled to partner with WFMD to broadcast our men's basketball games," said Mount St. Mary's Director of Athletics Brad Davis.  "One of our priorities is to develop a strong fan base in Frederick, and this partnership will allow us to broaden our reach to build a strong following of Mount basketball."
 
Adam Pohl will be calling all the action for the Mountaineers as the play-by-play announcer.  Pohl will be in his 12^th season as the voice of the men's basketball team and is in his 14^th season calling Mount Athletics.
 
The Mountaineers opened the 2023-24 season at home with a charity exhibition game against Bucknell on Saturday, October 28, at 4:00 p.m.  The season opener is set for November 7 at Maryland.
