EMMITSBURG, Md. (June 27, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's men's water polo announced its schedule for the 2023 regular season. Included are 25 contests, with four tournaments and 12 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo (MAWP) conference games.

Four contests occur at the home pool in the Knott ARCC, including a doubleheader October 7^th with the Wagner Seahawks in the morning and the George Washington Revolutionaries in the evening. Remaining games in Emmitsburg include the Bucknell Bison (Oct. 6) and the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays (Oct. 15).
 
Games begin Labor Day Weekend in Providence, Rhode Island with four games at Brown. Mercyhurst is the first challenger at 10 a.m. September 2^nd. Subsequent tournaments take place at Bucknell (three games), Salem (four games), and Southern California for the Gary Troyer Tournament (four games). One game at Bucknell versus Fordham and a second at Salem versus Navy will count towards MAWP standings. Opponents for Gary Troyer finalize in September.
 
Of the opponents listed, the Mount has faced everyone at least once except Pacific and Augustana, squaring off with the Tigers and Vikings for the first time at the Brown Invitational. The most common foe is a four-way tie between Mercyhurst, Gannon, Salem, and Fordham, facing each team six previous times.
 
This fall marks the fourth season of play for men's water polo. In their third year, the team went 15-14 overall with a 6-10 mark in conference action.
