COMPLETE RESULTS
May 14, 2023--Richard Gilchrist finished in second place in the 110m hurdles to pace the Mount St. Mary's track and field teams at the IC4A/ECAC Championships held at George Mason this past weekend.
Gilchrist had the top qualifying time of 14.02 seconds in the 110m hurdles before finishing second in the finals with a mark of 13.89 seconds, .04 seconds behind Navy's Brahmir Vick.Â
Will Stephenson finished in 10th place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.94 seconds.
In the men's pole vault,
Arran Fahey posted a career-best mark by clearing 4.88m (16') to finish in a tie for sixth place. Fahey's mark is tied for fifth on the Mount's all-time top 10 list. Nick Weaver ran a time of 11.07 seconds to qualify for the preliminary round in the 100m dash, where he finished 21st with a time of 10.95 seconds. Weaver also finished 24th in teh 200m dash (22.14).Â
John Wang finished 11th in the 3,000m steeplechase (9:18.75),
Renaldi Falwell 20th in the discus (40.23m, 132'),
Daniel Reader 15th in the 400m dash (48.58), and
Cyre Hooper ninth in the triple jump (13.90m, 45' 7.25"). Â
For the women, Freshman
Zionna Perez-Tucker advanced to the finals in the 100m dash with a time of 11.89 seconds before finishing seventh in the finals with a mark of 12.01 seconds. Perez-Tucker added a 10th place mark in the 200m dash (24.38). In the pole vault,
Emelie Beckman was eighth (3.78m, 12' 4.75") while
Ella Dougher was 14th (3.48m, 11' 5"). Beckman's mark moves her into fifth all-time at the Mount.. In the javelin,
Rebecca Weir placed eighth (38.00m, 124' 8") with
Tierney McCarroll placing 12th (32.73m, 107' 4").Â
Jovana Miloradovic was 28th in the triple jump (10.79m, 35' 5").
