BUCKNELL TEAM CHALLENGE RESULTS | USC OPEN RESULTS
April 22, 2023--Mount St. Mary's track and field had a strong day at the Bucknell Team Challenge while also having a trio of athletes compete at the University of South Carolina Open on Saturday.Â
The Mount swept the men's and women's pole vault at Bucknell.Â
Arran Fahey won the men's pole vault by clearning 4.85m (15' 11") while
Emelie Beckman won the women's pole vault with a height of 3.65m (11' 11.75").Â
Zionna Perez-Tucker won the 200m dash (24.31) while
John Wang (3000m steeplechase, 9:27.90),
Tierney McCarroll (javelin, 40.09m, 131' 6) and
Daniel Reader (400m, 49.42) each had second place finishes. Nick Weaver was third in the 100m (11.08),
Kevin Zaleski fourth in the 800m (1:56.05),
Will Stephenson fourth in the 110m hurdles (15.16) and fifth in the 400m hurdles (57.93),
D.J. Hamilton third in the triple jump (13.76m, 45' 1.75"),
Dante Elliot third in the high jump (1.93m, 6' 4"),
Renaldi Falwell fourth in the shot put (15.50m, 50' 10.25") and
Rebecca Weir third in the javelin (39.36m, 139' 1").
At South Carolina,
Todd Charles finished 10th in the 100m dash with a time of 10.32 seconds and 18th in the 200m dash with a mark of 21.38 seconds.Â
Justyn Seivright was seventh in the 400m hurdles at 54.29 seconds.Â
Dylan LaNoue was competing in the triple jump on Saturday night.
The Mount track teams close out the regular season next Saturday at the Saint Francis Red Flash Invitational.
