EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 25, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's women's water polo improved to 6-2 on the young season with wins Saturday against Penn State Behrend and Gannon. The games concluded the team's visit to Grove City, where they went a perfect 3-0.
Mount's start is the best for eight games across their three-year history.

Heather Lock registered big days in different games. Thurman posted five goals in the Penn State Behrend contest, with Lock adding five more against Gannon.
All three goalkeepers saw time in the cage during the day.
Hannah Keyser went the distance against the Lions in the opener, logging 11 saves.

Samantha Bright split time against the Golden Knights.
Strong first quarters in both games paved the way to victory. The Mount outwitted Penn State Behrend 7-1 after eight minutes, and 5-1 to Gannon.
