MOUNT UPDATE
In the 2023 season opener, the Mount fell to the Navy Midshipmen by a 13-7 final. After a defensive half where Navy edged the Mount 3-2, the Mids tallied 10 second half goals on the way to the win.
Jared McMahon and
Cormac Giblin posted two goals each for the Mountaineers, with McMahon leading in points with four on the afternoon.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Towson enters the 2023 season after going 7-9 in 2022. They were projected to come in second place in the Colonial Athletic Association poll, behind Delaware.
Four members of the team received All-CAA preseason honors – Colby Barsz, Kyle Berkeley, Matt Constantinides, and Garrett Zungailia. Leading goal scorer Nick DeMaio returns after scoring 36 times for the Tigers last season. A noticeable departure is James Avanzato, who scored 56 points in his senior year.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Towson holds an 11-1 lead in the all-time series, dating back to 2004. Mount got its lone win in 2020 by an 11-10 score at Johnny Unitas Stadium. Two third quarter power play goals and staunch defense helped achieve victory. Last year, Towson pulled away with five goals in the third to earn a 13-8 win.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Remaining at home, the Mount faces Delaware Wednesday (Feb. 15).
