EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 26^th, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's women's rugby hosts the Quinnipiac Bobcats Saturday at Echo Field to conclude their 2022 season. The Mountaineers will hold a senior day ceremony prior to start time at 11:00 a.m.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
Women's rugby competed against the Navy Midshipmen in Annapolis, Maryland where the Mount finished the game in a tie, 17-17. Monet Hubbard scored the first two tries for the Mount, the first being just 1:40 into the game. Kameka President scored the final try of the game to knot the game at 17.
 
SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC
 
The Bobcats are 4-2 this season, while currently on a three-game winning streak. Quinnipiac has beaten Sacred Heart (22-17), Army (22-17), and AIC (80-0) in their past three games and hold a 4-1 NIRA record. Kat Storey has scored seven tries in that span and seems to be the Bobcat's x-factor on both offense and defense.

 The Mountaineers are 0-2 in program history against the Bobcats. The last match between these two teams happened on October 29^th, 2022, where the Mount lost 62-10 at home.
