EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 12, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's men's water polo battles three more opponents during the second weekend of October.

MOUNT UPDATE: In three competitive games at home, the Mount fell to Bucknell by two goals, Wagner by five, and a one-goal overtime defeat to George Washington. The team stands at 5-14 this season.
Alexandros Bellesis set a single game season high for goals in a game against the Revolutionaries, finding the back of the net seven time. The sophomore from Greece has a substantial lead in the Mount's goal department with 57.
THE COMPETITION: Gannon is 5-2 but are riding a two-game slide and have not taken to the pool since September 24. The Bison come into the weekend 8-9 overall and 5-3 in the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference. JHU is 2-12 with victories over Mercyhurst and Connecticut College.
PREVIOUS HISTORY: The Mountaineers defeated Gannon earlier this year. Sunday will be the first of two meetings this season with the Blue Jays.
