MOUNT UPDATE:Â
Todd Charles broke the school record in the 60m dash to lead the Mount St. Mary's Indoor Track and Field last weekend with athletes competing at both the Bucknell Gulden Invitational and the Collegeville Classic hosted by Ursinus. Charles had a time of 6.76 seconds to take home first place at Bucknell after posting the top qualifying mark in the 60m dash. Also at Bucknell,
John Wang won the 5,000m with an IC4A qualifying standard of 14:59.51 with teammate
Michael Chipi finishing in second place (15:14.53) while the Mount also had a one-two finish in the 400m with Reader winning in a time of 50.00 (IC4A qualifier) and
Justyn Seivright second (50.77).  Click

CHECKING THE RECORD BOOK:Â
Todd Charles broke the school record in the 60m dash at the Bucknell Gulden Invitational. Charles had a time of 6.76 seconds to take home first place at Bucknell, breaking Justin Kimble's Mount school record of 6.77 set in 2019 at Akron. In the Mount's first meet of the year, freshman
Jovana Miloradovic matched the Mount's school mark in the triple jump. Her leap of 11.65m (38' 3.75") tied the record set by Fatima Abbas on Feb. 17, 2002.
THE MAAC LEADERBOARD: The Mountaineers have seven athletes and one relay team at the top of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) leaderboards midway through January. The list includes
Zionna Perez-Tucker (60m) and
Jovana Miloradovic (Triple Jump) on the women's leaderboard and
Daniel Reader (400m),
Nasir Banks (500m),
Richard Gilchrist (60m hurdles),
Dylan LaNoue (high jump),
Arran Fahey (pole vault) and the 4x400m relay team on the men's side.Â
