MEN'S RESULTS | WOMEN'S RESULTS | DOC JOPSON INVITATIONAL RESULTS
Annapolis, Md. (March 26, 2022)--The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Navy Invitational and the Doc Jopson Invitational on Saturday.
On the men's side,
Dylan Myrie finished third in the long jump with a leap of 6.77m (22' 2.5") with
Carter Holsinger (pole vault, 4.92m, 16' 1.75"),
Matthew Whitaker (javelin, 51.40m, 168' 10"),
Cyre Hooper (triple jump, 13.41m, 44') and
James Munlyn (400m, 22.96) all finishing in fourth place. For the women,
Logan Hart was fourth in the long jump (5.28m, 17' 4") and Keighan DeCoff fifth in the shot put (12.11m, 39' 8.75").
At the Doc Jopson Invitational hosted by Bridgewater College,
Zaria Wilson (13.79),
Garcelle Pierre (13.90),
Jasmine Kidd (14.11) and
Nylah Capo-ChiChi (14.37) qualified for the finals in the 100m dash, but did not compete in the final round.Â
Jaelyn Chevannes was third in the hammer throw (38.72m) as well for the women's team. For the men,
Torian Neblett advanced to the finals in the 100m dash.
The Mountaineers are back in action next week at the Vertklasse Meeting hosted by High Point and the Towson Invitational with both meets competing on April 1-2.
