EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 24, 2022) – Northeast Conference games begin for Mount St. Mary's baseball with a three-game set in New Jersey against Fairleigh Dickinson.

ABOUT THE MOUNT

Cooper Adams ended the Georgetown series on a high note, going the distance in a one-run, 10 strikeouts outing against the Hoyas. A first inning triple from Brady Drawbaugh was all the offense the Mount needed in the 3-1 victory. Adams' efforts earned him NEC Pitcher of the Week honors.

Entering conference week, the team's average stands at .219, with several players beginning to hit their stride. Thomas Bramley kept his pace, hitting at .352, but strong weekends from Aiden Tierney, Tyler Long and Shane Wockley are good signs as Northeast Conference play begins.

Led by and his 0.77 ERA through 11 2/3 innings, the pitching staff compiled a 7.24 ERA as of the Georgetown series. The sophomore Max Moore reliever also leads all hurlers with 16 strikeouts.

On another high note, pitcher Cooper Adams was awarded Northeast Conference Pitcher of the Week. Adams has a 1-2 record with a 7.36 ERA and 15 strikeouts.
