LAST TIME OUT:  A quick start propelled Mount St. Mary's past Sacred Heart, 3-1, in a Northeast Conference matchup at Waldron Family Stadium on windy Sunday afternoon.  Three different players scored in the first half while Kalli Bell collected a pair of assists to fuel the victory.  Hannah Cooksey gave the Mount the lead just 3:37 into the game on a nice feed from Bell.  Isabella Wendler made it a two-goal advantage in the 26th minute when she volleyed home a cross from Elisabeth Rockhill.  After Sacred Heart cut the Mount advantage in half, Maggie Wishart scored directly off a corner kick to put the Mount on top, 3-1, at the half.  From there, the Mount defense was able to keep Sacred Heart off the scoreboard in the second half to secure the win.

ABOUT WAGNER:  Wagner enters Thursday's matchup with a 3-6-0 overall record and a 0-2-0 mark in Northeast Conference play.  Wagner is coming off a 3-1 loss to NEC newcomer Howard this past Sunday.  The Seahawks feature the NEC's leading goal scorer in Madison Carr, who has a league-best five goals on the year.  Mia Tessier has a goal and three assists on the year.  In goal, Erin Kelly has started six of the nine games, posing a 1.50 goals against average and a .719 save percentage on the season.

LAST YEAR'S MATCHUP:  Arden Lembryk made six saves while Hannah Cooksey provided the lone goal of the game to lift the Mount to a 1-0 win against Wagner on March 30 at Waldron Family Stadium.  Cooksey took a pass from Kalli Bell, had one touch, and fired a left-footed shot into the lower left corner of the goal in the 28th minute to put the Mount on top.  Wagner goalkeeper Erin Kelly made a pair of sensational stops in the 84th minute to keep her team in the game.  Wagner had a late chance to tie the score, but Jordyn Price's shot in the final minute went off the crossbar.  The Mount held a 19-to-10 shot advantage in the game, including a 9-to-6 edge in shots on goal.
