MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's split a pair of games last weekend to finish non-conference play with a 2-6-0 record.  The Mount has four one-goal losses this season, including three in overtime.  Elisabeth Rockhill has scored a goal in each of the past three games and leads the team in scoring with 10 points on four goals and two assists.  Kalli Bell has a team-best three assists and is second on the team with seven points.  In goal, Arden Lembryk has appeared in five games, posting a 1.39 goals against average, 43 saves and an .860 save percentage.

LAST WEEK RECAP:  The Mount split a pair of one-goal games last week, falling to Navy, 2-1, on Friday before capturing a 2-1 victory over UMBC on Sunday.  Elisabeth Rockhill scored the game-winning goal with just over 10 minutes remaining to lift the Mount to the win over UMBC.  Kalli Bell picked up her second assist of the game with a long free kick that lofted over the defense to Rockhill, who tucked the ball just inside the far post for her fourth goal of the year.  Rockhill scored in the fourth minute to stake the Mount to a 1-0 lead a Navy, but the Mids rallied for the 2-1 win, scoring the game winner in the 79th minute.

ABOUT CENTRAL CONNECTICUT:  Central Connecticut enters Saturday's game with a 3-2-0 record.  The Blue Devils last played on September 5, a 2-0 home loss to Oregon State, snapping CCSU's 35-game home unbeaten streak.  After opening the season with a 2-1 loss to UConn, Central Connecticut won three consecutive one-goal games (Albany, New Hampshire, Colgate) before falling to Oregon State.  Roma McLaughlin leads CCSU in scoring with three goals and seven points while Erica Bardes has a goal and a team-high three assists.  Amanda McQuillan has made four starts, posting a 1.25 goals against average and 22 saves.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES WITH CENTRAL CONNECTICUT:  Central Connecticut holds a 19-4-3 lead in the all-time series with the Mount that began in 1995.  The Blue Devils have won the past three matchups between the two squads since the Mount's last win, a 1-0 victory at home on October 1, 2017.  The Mountaineers are 3-7-3 all-time at home against Central Connecticut, including a 2-4-1 mark at Waldron Family Stadium.

LAST YEAR'S MATCHUP:  The Mount hung tough with Central Connecticut last year, conceding three goals over the final 10 minutes in a 4-1 loss.  Elisabeth Rockhill's goal in the 42nd minute tied the score at 1-1.  That goal was the lone goal allowed by CCSU to a Northeast Conference opponent all season.  The Blue Devils outscored NEC opponents 19-to-1 last year before falling to South Florida, 3-0, in the NCAA Tournament.  Maggie Barron made 17 saves in the contest.

NEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Elisabeth Rockhill collected Northeast Conference Player of the Week honors on Tuesday after scoring in each of the Mount's games this past weekend.  She tallied the game-winning goal against UMBC on Sunday after giving the Mount the early lead at Navy this past Friday.  Rockhill is the Mount's first NEC Player of the Week honoree since Jasmine McCree collected the award on September 19, 2019.  Overall, she is the 11th Mountaineer all-time to win NEC Player of the Week honors.

ROCKHILL PACES NEC IN SCORING:  Senior Elisabeth Rockhill leads the Northeast Conference in scoring with 10 points while she is tied for the conference lead with four goals.  Rockhill has scored a goal in each of the past three games, becoming the first Mountaineer to score in three consecutive games since Emily Menotti in 2009.

BELL CHIPPING IN:  Junior Kalli Bell is second on the team in scoring with seven points on two goals and a team-high three assists.  Bell picked up a pair of assists in the Mount's 2-1 win over UMBC this past Sunday.

OVERTIME:  Overtime has not been kind to the Mount this season as the Mountaineers are 0-3 in overtime affairs.  The Mount opened the season with back-to-back overtime losses to Radford (3-2) and Robert Morris (2-1) while falling to Towson (3-2) in OT their last game.  The back-to-back overtime games to start the season was the first time the Mount has opened with consecutive overtime games since 2011.  That year, the Mount downed Rider, 1-0, in overtime in the season opener before falling to Saint Joseph's, 1-0, in overtime in the next game.  The Mountaineers are 17-30-35 all-time in overtime games with head coach Tori Krause posting a 0-4-2 mark in overtime affairs.  The record for most overtime games in a season was set by the 2010 team that had eight overtime games.

LEMBRYK COLLECTS CONFERENCE HONORS:  Sophomore goalkeeper Arden Lembryk was named the Northeast Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week on August 31st.  Lembryk recorded nine saves in the Mount's 1-0 victory at Davidson this past Friday. In the win at Davidson, Lembryk made five saves in the opening half to keep the game scoreless at the break.  After the Mount took a 1-0 lead, Lembryk made a pair of saves in the closing 28 minutes to secure her third career shutout.  On the year, Lemryk is 1-1-0 with a 0.98 goals against average, 17 saves and a .895 save percentage in two starts.  Lembryk is  the seventh player in Mount history to earn an NEC Defensive Player of the Week award.  The last Mountaineer to collect the honor was Maggie Barron on September 19, 2019.

HEAD COACH TORI KRAUSE:  Head coach Tor Krause is in her fourth season at the helm of the Mount women's soccer program.  This past spring, Krause led the Mount to a 4-5-0 record, the team's highest winning percentage (.444) since the 2000 team went 7-8-2 (.471).  Krause is a 2014 graduate of Davidson where she appeared in 51 career games.
