The Mount opened the day with a 7-0 loss to St. John's.  Daisy Gardner went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Mountaineers.

St. John's opened the scoring with an unearned run in the top of the third inning.  The Red Storm loaded the bases with no outs against Mount starter Avery Neuhart, and scored a pair of runs on an error by the pitcher.  Neuhart, however, was able to get of the jam without allowing another run to keep it a 2-0 game.

St. John's loaded the bases again in the top of the fourth, and took advantage this time with an RBI single by Amelia Ditolvo, a bases loaded walk and a sacrifice fly.  Kalei Sorensen then singled to bring home a run with another run scoring on a Mount error.

Neuhart allowed seven runs (four earned) in five innings while Elizabeth King pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the Mountaineers.

The Mountaineers got a run back in the top of the third when Mariah Godde reached on an error and moved to second on a Zoe Wilcox sacrifice bunt.  Stoner singled to put runners on the corners, and Kirsten Mumma's infield single plated Godde to make it 3-1.

San Diego added a run in the bottom of the third on a Halle Kyler solo home run and two more in the fifth on an Eli Princic two-run double to make it 6-1.

Elizabeth King started for the Mount, allowing four runs in four innings of work.  Neuhart closed out the game, allowing two runs in two innings.
