The Mount St. Mary's bats put up nine runs to win the series finale 9-5 at LIU Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Mount grabbed a big Northeast Conference series win on the road that moved their conference record to 5-4.
Owen Wosleger, Patrick Causa, Thomas Savastio, and Sebastian Mieses each recorded multi-hit games to lead the Mountaineers offense. Causa and Savastio combined for five RBI, five runs scored, a double, and a home run in the clean-up and fifth spot in the lineup. Mount St. Mary's pitching, Jordan Geber, Noah Smith, Andrew Dameron, and Dennis Snyder only allowed three earned runs in the win.

ABOUT THE MIDSHIPMEN
The Navy baseball team (24-11, 11-3 Patriot League) dropped the final game of the weekend series against Holy Cross (9-24, 5-5 Patriot League), 4-1, on Sunday at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. Despite the loss, the Midshipmen won the regular-season series against Crusaders, 3-2. Zach Biggers wrapped up his strong series with a 3-for-4 day at the plate and he scored Navy's only run of the game. Liam Lowery drove in the Midshipmen's lone run and he went 1-for-4 to close out the weekend.
ALL-TIME SERIES WITH NAVY
The Mount holds a 6-3 lead in the all-time series with Navy since moving to NCAA Division I in 1989. The Mountaineers are 2-1 all-time at home against Navy, including a 5-4 win on March 30, 2011, in the last matchup between the two teams in Emmitsburg. The Midshipmen won the mid-week matchup earlier this year at Navy, 11-7.
