ABOUT THE BISONS
A grand slam by the Mountain Hawks in the second inning of game three helped propel Lehigh to a series sweep of the Bison on Sunday afternoon. Bucknell pulled within 5-4 in the seventh on a Luke Hartman double, but the Mountain Hawks plated an insurance run in the eighth to take a 6-4 win.

Evan Madigan posted a 2-for-4 day from the plate as the Bison totaled eight hits overall.  Hartman, Marren, and Baumann each picked up an RBI for Bucknell in the defeat.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH BUCKNELL
The Bisons own a 19-5 advantage in the all-time series with the Mountaineers, including an 8-4 record in Emmitsburg. The two teams have not played each other since 2015 where Bucknell defeated the Mount 8-7 on the Bison's home field. Mount St. Mary's is winless in the last six meetings against Bucknell with three of those meetings coming at home.

UP NEXT
The Mount baseball team welcomes Central Connecticut State for a Northeast Conference three game series on April 26 – 29 with the first game beginning at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 26.
