ABOUT THE SEAHAWKS
The Wagner College baseball team erupted for a season-high 17 runs on a season-best 22 hits in posting a 17-6 midweek victory over the Saint Peter's University Peacocks on Tuesday afternoon. With the win, the Seahawks move to 12-20 overall while the Peacocks fall to 2-28 on the season.

Eight of the nine Wagner starters had at least one hit while senior Anthony Pecora and junior Freddy Sabido led the offensive barrage at the plate with four hits apiece. Pecora and junior RF Griffin Schneider led the Seahawk offense with four RBs apiece in today's victory. Sabido came around to score a team-leading four times while Pecora and fellow classmate, Joe Silvestrone, scored three runs apiece. Junior right-hander Ryan Lauk (1-2) earned the win after starting the contest with three shutout innings in which he didn't allow a hit while striking out four with two walks.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH WAGNER
Wagner owns a 62-42 advantage in the all-time series with the Mount as the two programs have met 104 times in series history and the Seahawks have a 24-23 mark in Emmitsburg. Wagner won two out of the three games earlier this year between the two teams on their home field. Last season, the Seahawks swept the Mountaineers in a four game series early in the season and topped Mount St. Mary's 3-1 in the elimination game in the Northeast Conference Tournament.
