MOUNT UPDATE
The Mount St. Mary's baseball team was topped 4-0 by Wagner on Sunday afternoon and with the win, the Seahawks won the three game series, two games to one. Sophomore Myles Nicholson led the Mount offense with a multi-hit and a multi-steal game in the loss. Nicholson went 3-for-5 with three singles and two stolen bases at the leadoff spot.

With his multi-hit and multi-steal game, the Mountaineers' left fielder now has now has six multi-hit games on the season and a conference leading 18 stolen bases on the year. Alex KrissPatrick CausaRyan Fisher, and Thomas Bramley recorded the four other base hits for Mount St. Mary's on the day. Red-shirt sophomore pitcher Cole Reeder pitched 1.1 innings in relief while he only allowed one hit and struck out three batters.

ABOUT THE MIDSHIPMEN
The Navy baseball team continued its strong start to league play with a 6-3 win in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader and the Midshipmen rallied to win the series finale, 11-10, against Bucknell (4-14, 0-4 Patriot League) as they swept the Bison during the first weekend of the Patriot League season at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium. Navy's four victories this weekend extended its winning streak to seven games and the Midshipmen have won 13 of their last 15 games. On Sunday, Christian Hodge led Navy with three hits and four RBIs. Zach Stevens had three official at-bats in his two starts on Sunday and notched two hits, two RBIs and scored four runs. Stevens was also walked three times and hit by a pitch once to post a .875 on-base mark for the day.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH NAVY
The Mount holds a 6-2 lead in the all-time series with Navy since moving to NCAA Division I in 1989. Mount St. Mary's has won the last two-out-of-three meetings against the Midshipmen. The Mountaineers are 4-1 all-time on the road against Navy, including a 10-6 win on March 21, 2012, in the last matchup between the two teams.
