MOUNT UPDATE: The Mountaineers lost both ends of a Northeast Conference doubleheader at Central Connecticut on Sunday to fall to 16-23-1 overall and 6-8 in league play. Despite outhitting the Blue Devils in each game, the Mount was held off the scoreboard in the twinbill. Morgan Alisauckas leads the team with a .319 average while Lindsay Heinze is hitting .316. Katie Olson leads the pitching staff with a 5-4 record and a 4.20 ERA in 24 appearances.
ABOUT THE BLUE HENS: Delaware won two of three games in a three-game series at UNC-Wilmington over the weekend to improve to 13-31 overall and 5-13 in the Colonial Athletic Association. Jordan Cargile leads the pitching staff with a 4.29 ERA in 109.1 innings of work. Mariah Kondravy (.346, 11 2B, 7HR, 27 RBI) and Anna Steinmetz (.322, 11 2B, 7 HR, 33 RBI) lead Delaware's offense.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES: The Mountaineers are 0-18 all-time against Delaware in the series that began in 1993. The teams last met in 2016 with the Blue Hens posting 8-2 and 3-2 wins in a home doubleheader. The Mount is 0-11 all-time on the road against Delaware.
