Mount St. Mary's Softball Set for Games Against Stetson and Bethune-Cookman

Mount Update: The Mount is 3-6 overall on the season and coming off a 1-4 finish in the North Florida Invitational with the win coming against Albany, 14-6. The Mount dropped contests to La Salle (0-3), Western Carolina (3-8), North Florida (1-9), and Albany (2-15) at the invite. Morgan Alisaucka continues to lead the Mount's offense with a .407 batting average and a pair of home runs in 27 at bats.

The Opponents: The Mountaineers will travel to DeLand, Florida to face Stetson before taking on Bethune-Cookman in a double header in Daytona Beach, Florida.

About Stetson: The Hatters are currently 16-3 on the season and are coming off two wins against Providence on Tuesday. They also posted a 4-0 record in the Hatter Classic Tournament, defeating Bethune-Cookman (13-2), South Dakota (7-3), Cornell (16-4), and NEC foe LIU Brooklyn (9-8). Kelsey Waters leads the Hatters behind the plate with a .509 batting average while Ashly Smith and Maggie Fritts have four home runs apiece.

About Bethune-Cookman: The Wildcats are 4-18 so far this season, but are currently riding a three-game win streak after topping Cornell 13-5 in the Hatter Classic, and sweeping Western Carolina in a double-header on Tuesday. Ryan Jackson leads the offense for Bethune-Cookman with five home runs and 18 RBIs thus far. Mariah Estrada leads the Wildcats on the mound with a 3-3 record and a 4.84 ERA.

All-Time Series: The Mountaineers are 1-4 all-time vs. Stetson with their last victory coming in 2012 when the Mount posted a 1-0 victory. The Mount is 1-3 all-time against Bethune-Cookman with the lone win coming in 2012.

Up Next: After the Mount's double-header vs. Bethune-Cookman, they travel to Clearwater, Florida to compete in the Under Armor Showcase. The Mountaineers will face Western Michigan, Yale, La Salle, Indiana State, and Savannah State in the showcase.
