MOUNT UPDATE:  The Mount lost at Bucknell, 15-10, on Friday night to fall to 5-4 on the season.  Freshman Chris DiPretoro led the Mountaineers with six goals and an assist in the game.  The Mountaineers held a 10-8 win midway through the third quarter, but Bucknell scored the final seven goals of the game to rally for the win.  Bubba Johnson and Jack Mangan each had a goal and an assist in the game as well.

ABOUT UMBC:  The Retrievers lost at home to Hartford, 10-4, on Saturday to drop to 2-7 overall and 0-3 in the America East Conference.  UMBC seniors Nate Lewnes and Jack Gannon scored two goals each for UMBC in the game.  Lewnes leads the team in scoring with 18 goals and 23 points.  Max Maxwell has eight goals and a team-high 14 assists for 22 points.  In goal, Ruston Souder has started each of the past three games, and he has an 11.02 goals against average and a .510 save percentage on the season.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES:  UMBC holds a 22-0 lead in the all-time series with the Mount that began in 1974.  The Mountaineers are 0-17 all-time against the Retrievers since moving to NCAA Division I in 1989.  The teams have met in each of the past three seasons, including an 11-8 UMBC win last year in Baltimore. 

LAST YEAR'S MEETING:  UMBC posted an 11-8 win over the Mount last year in Baltimore.  The Retrievers scored four goals in the third quarter to snap a 4-4 tie.  After the Mount cut the deficit to 8-6 in the fourth, UMBC scored consecutive goals to push the lead back to four.  Justin Gosnell paced the Mount with a hat trick while Evan Gormley added a pair of goals.  Jack Gannon scored three goals to lead UMBC while Nate Lewnes and Pat Young chipped in two goals each.
