Tucson, Ariz. (March 4, 2016)--The Mount St. Mary's softball team dropped a pair of games to ranked opponents on Friday.  The Mount fell to No. 10 James Madison, 14-5, before losing to host No. 15 Arizona, 16-5, on Friday night at the Wildcat Invitational.

Against James Madison, Rachel Heinze went 2-for-3 with a double and a grand slam to pace the offense.  Jessica Greenewald went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

In the loss to Arizona, Megan Baker went 2-for-3 to raise her average to a team-best .424.  Marisa Mayes drove in a pair of runs.

The Mount concludes the tournament against Saint Francis U and UTEP Saturday.
