MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's is coming off an impressive 11-8 win at Georgetown on Tuesday.  Mark Hojnoski paced the Mount with five goals and an assist while Chris DiPretoro added a hat trick.  Trailing 8-7, the Mount scored four times over the final five minutes to secure the win.  DiPretoro scored the tying goal while Hojnoski gave the Mount the lead for good.  Justin Gosnell added two goals and two assists with Bubba Johnson chipping in a pair of helpers in the win. Frankie McCarthy made 13 saves while allowing seven goals in 59:33 of action in goal.

ABOUT FURMAN:  Furman is 0-3 this season, having lost to #12 Ohio State (8-7), #6 North Carolina (14-6), and Lehigh (15-7). Scott Primeau leads the team with seven points (4g, 3a).  Primeau, David Williamson and Jonah Moore are tied for the team lead with four goals each.  Reilly McDermott has started all three games in goal, posting a 12.33 goals against average and a .471 save percentage.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES:  Mount St. Mary's won the first-ever meeting between the teams, 7-6, at Furman last season.

LAST YEAR'S MEETING: Clayton Wainer scored with 2:05 remaining to lift Mount St. Mary's to a 7-6 win at Furman last year.  Goalkeeper Matt Vierheller made 14 saves in the victory as well.  Justin Gosnell paced the Mount with two goals and an assist.  Click HERE for a full recap.

HOJNOSKI HAS BIG DAY:  Mark Hojnoski tallied a career-high five goals in the Mount's 11-8 win at Georgetown.  Hojnoski added an assist for a six-point day. He leads the Mount with 10 goals and 13 points this season.

HELPING HAND:  Bubba Johnson had a pair of assists in the Mount's 11-8 win at Georgetown, including one on Mark Hojnoski's go-ahead goal.  Johnson leads the Mountaineers with six assists, and he is second on the team with nine points.

UP NEXT:  Mount St. Mary's returns to action on Saturday, March 12, at 12:00 p.m., when VMI visits Waldron Family Stadium.
