MOUNT UPDATE: The Mountaineers went 2-2 last weekend at the UMBC Dawg Pound Invitational.  The Mount swept a doubleheader at Coppin State on Saturday.  Marian Ruf is hitting .349 this season while Lindsay Heinze is hitting .321 with a home run and 15 RBI.  Katie Olson is 1-2 with a 6.23 ERA in 30.1 innings for the Mountaineers.

ABOUT TOWSON:  Towson enters the weekend with a 17-4 record this season.  The Tigers offense is led by Shelby Stracher, who is hitting .484 with seven home runs and 31 RBI.  Dania Edwards is hitting .410 with six home runs and 15 RBI.  In the circle, Amber Hickman is 7-1 with a 1.88 ERA.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES vs. TOWSON:  Towson holds a 37-7-1 lead in the all-time series with the Mountaineers.  Th eMount is 3-18 on the road against the Tigers.  The Mount's last win in the series was a 10-0 victory on April 4, 2013.

ABOUT FORDHAM:  The Rams have won six in a row to improve to 12-13 on the season.  Madison Shaw is hitting .395 while Sydney Canessa has a .351 average with seven home runs and 21 RBI.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES VS. FORDHAM:  The Rams won the only meeting between the two schools, 11-2, on March 13, 2009.

ABOUT VILLANOVA:  The Wildcats are 9-10 on the season.  Lauren Herschberg is hitting .400 with two home runs and 17 RBI while Dana Morris is hitting .344 with 17 RBI.  Kate Poppe is 5-7 with a 3.26 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 64.1 innings pitched.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES VS. VILLANOVA:  Villanova leads the all-time series, 4-0.  The two teams have not met since playing a twinbill on April 16, 2003.
