Tempe, Ariz. (February 28, 2016)—The Mount St. Mary's University softball team lost to Saint Francis U, 10-1, in its final game of the Diamond Devil Invitational hosted by Arizona State on Sunday.

The Red Flash (7-7) took control of the game by scoring five runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Megan Baker led the Mount (0-5) offense, going 3-for-3 at the plate with a run scored.  Marian Ruf and Shea McFarland each had a hit in the loss as well.

The Mount returns to action on Tuesday, March 1, with a doubleheader at New Mexico State.
