MOUNT STORYLINES
· Junior Alexis Carter and Sophomore Jessica Harris combined for 26 points this past Monday at Robert Morris, but the Mountaineers were edged by the Colonials, 61-56. The back-and-forth contest featured 19 lead changes, but a late fourth-quarter surge pushed Robert Morris past the Mountaineers.
· Mount St. Mary's matched its season-high for three-pointers in a game this season, connecting six times from long range against the Colonials. It marked the fifth time this season that the Mountaineers have knocked down six three-pointers in a contest. Carter, Harris and Kayla Bates made a pair of three-pointers each in the tilt.
· Carter leads the Mountaineers with 12.6 points per game this season and has tallied double-figures in five straight games, including 16 in each of the last two contests. Sophomores Jessica Harris (9.8 ppg) and Katrice Dickson (6.7) rank second and third on the team in scoring, respectively. Carter (6.2 rpg) and Harris (5.4) lead the team in rebounding, and senior Jody Chickey tops the squad in assists (3.7 apg).
· The Mount matches up with Fairleigh Dickinson for the 51st time in series history as the Mountaineers look to improve on their 27-23 advantage in the series. The Knights won both of the meetings last season by margins of 78-56 and 54-52.
SCOUTING FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON
· The Knights sit at 5-14 overall and 2-4 in Northeast Conference play on the year after splitting a pair of contests last week. They registered their highest scoring output of the season in a win over Robert Morris last Saturday, defeating the Colonials 83-68, before falling to Saint Francis U by an 87-67 margin on Monday.
· The team's top-two scorers, Kelsey Cruz (17.9 pgg) and Erika Livermore (16.5), rank third and fourth in the conference in scoring, respectively. The duo combined to post 36 points last time out, as Livermore registered a team-high 20 points on 10-of-16 shooting.
