FIRST FIVE
1.  Mount St. Mary's downed Sacred Heart, 77-71, on Saturday to improve to 10-11 overall and 6-4 in the Northeast Conference.  Byron Ashe matched his career high with 21 points while Gregory Graves added his fourth double-double of the season with 10 points and 13 boards.  The Mount used a 20-6 second-half run to take 61-44 lead with 11:28 left.  Sacred Heart rallied to cut the deficit to 71-66 with 1:13 remaining, but the Mount hit 6-of-6 from the foul line to seal the win.  
 
2.  Mount St. Mary's went a season-best 19-of-20 (.950) at the foul line in the win over Sacred Heart.  The Mount is shooting 72.2 percent on free throws in NEC games after hitting just 60.7 percent in non-conference action.  

3.  The Mountaineers hit 12-of-24 (.500) from three-point range in the 77-71 win at Sacred Heart on Saturday.  It was the third time this season the Mount has made 12 or more three-pointers in a game.  The Mountaineers leads the conference with 7.1 three-pointers made per game in NEC games this season.

4.  The Mountaineers have played four overtime games this season, including three overtime losses in Northeast Conference play.  This is the most overtime games in a season by a Mount team since the 2003-04 squad have five.  In all three NEC overtime losses, the Mount held the lead late only to see the opponent tie the score with a late three-point basket.
