Mount St. Mary's women's basketball returns home after a five-game road swing to face Loyola as part of the Catholic Clash on Saturday, December 5 at 4:30 p.m. The contest will follow the Mount St. Mary's vs. Loyola men's game at 2 p.m.

MOUNT STORYLINES
•Mount St. Mary's used a 14-0 run in the third quarter on Wednesday at UMES to take control of the game as the Mount went on for a 57-50 victory. The win was the second of the season for the Mountaineers as they improved to 2-4 overall.
•The defense held UMES without a field goal in the final 6:02 of the third and held the Lady Hawks to .286-percent shooting from the field in the game.
•Kathleen Belanger-Finn and Alexis Carter combined for 29 points to pace the Mount in the victory. Belanger-Finn scored 12 points in the third quarter, including the final four field goals of the period.
•The win was the 695th in program history and Head Coach Bryan Whitten's 98th career victory with the Mountaineers. Whitten continues to inch closer to becoming the third coach in Mount women's basketball history to reach the 100-win mark.
•The Mount ranks second in the Northeast Conference in scoring defense, allowing just 61.0 points per game to opponents.
•Saturday's matchup marks the 37th all-time meeting between the Mountaineers and Greyhounds. The Mount owns a 23-13 advantage in the series despite a 56-49 loss in the meeting last season.

SCOUTING LOYOLA
•The Greyhounds dropped their third straight contest on Wednesday, falling at Old Dominion by a final of 64-41 to move to 2-5 on the year. Jeney Perry posted her third consecutive double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
•Loyola averages 55.3 points a game and surrenders an average of 63.7 to opponents.
•Bri Betz-White and Colleen Marshall are averaging 30.0 points combined through the opening seven games to lead the Greyhound offense. Perry tops the squad with 8.0 rebounds per contest.
