FIRST FIVE
1. Mount St. Mary's was edged by Robert Morris, 63-59, in overtime on Thursday night at Knott Arena. Gregory Graves scored in the paint with 4:06 left in regulation to give the Mountaineers a 56-49 advantage. The Colonials rallied with a 10-3 run to close the game, including a Marcquise Reed three-pointer with 11.5 seconds left that tied the score. The Mount had a chance to win in regulation, but Will Miller missed a three-pointer in the closing seconds. Robert Morris outscored the Mount, 4-0, in the overtime period to earn the win. The Mountaineers went the final 9:06 (including overtime) of play without a field goal. Gregory Graves led the Mount with 16 points and eight boards.
2. The Mount has held each of the past five opponents under 65 points. Over that stretch, Mount opponents are averaging 56.0 points while shooting 38.2 percent from the field and 27.8 percent from three-point range.
3. Gregory Graves paced the Mountaineers with 16 points and eight rebounds in the overtime loss to Robert Morris. Graves is averaging 10.4 points and 7.1 rebounds this season. In NEC play, he has lifted his numbers to 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 50.0 percent from the field.
4. The Mount's 63-59 overtime loss to Robert Morris was the third overtime game of the season for the Mountaineers. It is the most overtime games in one season by a Mount team since the 2006-07 squad also had three overtime games.
