MOUNT UPDATE: After 20 games on the road to begin the 2014 season, Mount St. Mary's makes its home debut on Friday afternoon with a twinbill versus Bowling Green at Our Lady of the Meadows Field. With an 8-11-1 record, the Mount is halfway to last year's win total of 16. Seven different players have recorded at least 10 hits on the season, led by 18 from freshman Jessica Greenewald.

LAST TIME OUT: The Mount crushed La Salle, 9-0, to conclude the Coppin State Invitational on March 16. Nicole Pagano and Danni Cummings combined to give up just three hits in the third shutout this season for the Mount. Cat Clifford knocked her first home run of the season in the victory.

GOING FOR THE RECORD: With 45 career wins, senior pitcher Nicole Pagano is one shy of tying Zena Edwards' school-record mark of 46 wins set in 1989. Pagano is 7-5 on the season and ranks second in the NEC with 93 strikeouts.

ABOUT BOWLING GREEN: Despite holding opponents to just 2.15 runs per game, Bowling Green is 6-13-1 on the year. Katie Yoho's .328 batting average leads the Falcons, which started 0-5 and has since gone 6-8-1. Eight of the Falcons' losses have been by two runs or fewer.

ABOUT DELAWARE STATE: The Hornets had a six-game winning streak that spanned the end of February into March and stand at 10-6 through 16 games. Delaware State's two top pitchers, Tara Tursellino and Vanessa Ciocatto, have ERA's under 2.00. The Hornets have outscored opponents by a 67-42 margin this season.

ABOUT SAINT PETER'S: The Peacocks are 3-13 on the season, playing four games in South Carolina and 12 in Florida to kick off the 2014 campaign. Saint Peter's most dangerous hitter, Lee Harrison leads the team with 14 hits, three home runs, eight RBI's and a .333 batting average. Freshman pitcher Crystal Carlucci carries a team-best 6.07 ERA into the weekend.

ABOUT UMBC: UMBC, which went 11-41 a year ago, holds an impressive 17-6 record early in the 2014 season. The Retrievers went 3-1 while hosting the UMBC Dawg Pound Invitational last week with wins over Drexel, Rhode Island and Hampton. Four Retrievers are batting better than .320 with Taylor Hall posting a team-best .403 average. Jessica Holte is credited with 11 of the team's 17 wins on the year and has nine complete games to her name.

RECORD VS. WEEKEND OPPONENTS: The Mount is 13-9 versus Delaware State, including two wins in the last two seasons. Against UMBC, the Mount is 8-32, but has picked up five-consecutive victories versus the Retrievers. The Mount has never faced Saint Peter's or Bowling Green.

MOUNT AT HOME: The Mount went 7-11 at home last season and is 17-31 at Our Lady of the Meadows Field under Head Coach Anna Nagro.

UP NEXT: The Mount hosts Morgan State for a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 25, at Our Lady of the Meadows Field.
