FIRST FIVE
1. Chris Martin scored a career-high 19 points, but the Mount fell to No. 25 Notre Dame, 93-67, on Tuesday night.  The Mountaineers trailed 22-18 after a Martin three-pointer, but the Fighting Irish closed the half on a 30-to-9 run for a 52-27 lead at the break.  Martin finished 5-of-9 from three-point range in the loss while Will Miller added 12 points and three assists in the game.  The Mount hit 13-of-35 (.371) from beyond the three-point arc in the loss.
 
2.  Mount St. Mary's made a season-high 13 three-point field goals in the loss at Notre Dame on Tuesday.  The Mountaineers are 20-52 (.385) from three-point range over the past two games.  For the season, the Mount is shooting 29.9 percent (53-of-177) from beyond the arc.

3. Mount St. Mary's has done a good job of taking care of the basketball of late.  Over the past three games, the Mount is averaging just 10.0 turnovers per game.  Point guard Junior Robinson has 15 assists and six turnovers over the three-game stretch.

4. Mount St. Mary's is playing in Knott Arena for the first time since the home opener against Maryland-Eastern Shore on November 19.  The Mount is 20-6 at home under head coach Jamion Christian, and has posted a 54-25 record (.689) at Knott Arena since the start of the 2008-09 season.
 
5.  Mount St. Mary's is back in action at American on Saturday, December 20, for a 1:00 p.m. game.  Last year, the Mount defeated American, 68-64, at Knott Arena.
