Everist started a two-run rally in the third with a single. After Jenna Zimmerman (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) reached on an error, Katy Bobbitt (Greencastle, Pa./Greencastle-Antrim) notched her first collegiate RBI on a single to right field to plate Everist while Zimmerman crossed the plate on an error on the play for a 4-0 advantage.
