• Junior F Ashley Wilcots paced the Terriers with 12 points
against the Blackbirds. Wilcots is averaging 5.0 points and 2.5
rebounds per game.
• Sophomore F Autumn Lau leads the team with 11.8 points and
5.3 rebounds per game. Lau has been the team's leading scorer 12
times this season, including 16 points in a 56-52 loss to
Quinnipiac on Feb. 7.
• Sophomore G Amber Lau ranks second on the team with 7.5
points and 3.7 rebounds per game. The sophomore fueled the team
with 13 points in a 70-58 loss against Long Island on Saturday.

quick hits on the wagner game... For the first
time this season Mount St. Mary's took the lead and never trailed
in the contest to end a three-game losing streak against
Wagner.
• Freshman Jessie Kaufman finished the game one point off a
career high with 13 points against the Seahawks. It was the
freshman's second career 10-point performance of her career after
notching 14 points against Long Island on Jan. 17. Kaufman has made
22 of her 49 3-point attempts and has nailed a trey in 13 of the 25
games this season.
• Fellow freshman Ashley Christie added 12 points on Monday.
Christie notched back-to-back 10-point performances for the second
time this season. The freshman ranks second on the team with 12
double-digit contests this season. She is averaging 11.2 points per
game in her last 10 games with seven double-digit performances
including five games with 15 points or more.
• Senior Mary Dunn continues to be successful in league games,
registering 10 points and six rebounds. It was the senior's 12th
double-digit performance in 14 league games this season and she
ranks seventh with 17.4 points per game in NEC play. The senior
needs three points to pass former teammate and current assistant
coach Brianna Gauthier (1,128, 2005-09) for 18th place in program
history for points. She became the all-time leader in games started
against Monmouth on Feb. 7 and now is moving up the Top-10 in
career games played, sitting in eighth place with 113 and will move
up to the seventh spot with her next appearance.
• Sophomore Selina Mann posted seven assists, five steals and
five points against Wagner. Mann has dished out 112 assists this
season, the most since Amy Langville handed out 139 in 1996-97. The
sophomore also has the most steals since Adrienne Harris registered
77 steals in 2002-03 with 74 in 2010-11.
• The Mount has won three of its last four for the first time
this season and for the fifth time under head coach Bryan
Whitten.
• The Mount has won three-straight home games for the second
time under Whitten and the first since the 2008-09 season. The
squad looks to win four-straight at home for the first time since
2007-08.
the state of the mount... With the win against
Wagner, the Mountaineers remain in a good standing for its 21st
postseason berth in 22 years.
• Six of the eight postseason spots have been clinched with
Central Connecticut State (8-6), Fairleigh Dickinson (5-9), the
Mount (4-10), Wagner (4-10) and St. Francis (N.Y.) (0-13) battling
for the final two berths. The Blue Devils will clinch a spot with a
win or losses by the Mountaineers and Seahawks so and the Terriers
will be eliminated with its next loss so it could end up being a
three-team race for the final position.
• The Mount needs at least one win in its final four to have a
shot the NEC Tournament.
• Mount St. Mary's holds the tiebreaker with the Knights and a
three-way tiebreaker with Fairleigh Dickinson and Wagner.
• The Seahawks currently hold the tiebreaker with the
Mountaineers in a head-to-head. The two teams split the regular
season with each team winning on its home floor so the next
tiebreaker is winning percentage against teams starting with the
top of the standings. Wagner and the Mount both beat Monmouth, but
the Seahawks have a win against Sacred Heart to give them the edge
at the moment. The Mount can claim the head-to-head tiebreaker
against Wagner with a win against a team that finishes higher than
the Pioneers in the standings.
i'm a weekend kind of girl... Freshman Ashley
Christie is averaging 12.4 points per game on the weekend this
season.
• The freshman has posted double figures in her last five
Saturday games and is averaging 17.0 points per game in that
stretch.
• Christie is averaging 15.6 points per game in five Saturday
league games.
• The freshman has posted seven of her 12 double-digit
performances on the weekend. Those seven games also represent her
Top-7 performances this season.

coach Bryan Whitten's first three years success came from its
defense.
• This season has been a different story as the Mount has
allowed 60 points in 17 of its 25 games and the opponent is
averaging 65.2 points per game.
• Last season, the Mount allowed 60 points or more 11 times.
The Mountaineers also ranked second in scoring defense (58.7 ppg.)
in the Northeast Conference and 37th in Division I.
• Offensively, Mount St. Mary's has scored 60 points 10 times
this season, including four 70-point performances and one 80-point
game. The Mount is 4-1 when it scores 70 points, but just 5-5 when

• The sophomore became the third player in program history and
the second player in Mount Division I history to record 10 steals
in a game. She joins Karla Green (at Richmond, Feb. 20, 1983) and
Kim Rhock (St. Francis (N.Y.), Feb. 13, 1990) as the only players
in program history to reach double-digit thefts.
• Mann becomes the second player to record a double-double
with points and steals, although Rhock finished her game against
the Terriers with a triple-double (19 points, 14 rebounds and 10
steals).

averaging 69.7 points per game in its seven wins compared to 52.2
points per game in the 18 loses. The squad is 4-5 when it reaches

• The Mountaineers are shooting 42.5 percent when it wins, but

Sacred Heart placed third ahead of the defending NEC Tournament
champions Saint Francis (Pa.), who picked up two first place votes
while Monmouth nabbed the final first-place vote to finish fifth in
the poll. Quinnipiac, Central Connecticut State, Bryant, Fairleigh

the good and the bad for henderson... Sophomore
Sydney Henderson scored a career-high 17 points against Virginia on
Nov. 14.
• Henderson scored 13 of her 17 points in the first eight
minutes of the second half.
• After establishing a new career-high on her bucket with
12:01 left in the second half, the sophomore left the game with a
knee injury.
• Henderson will miss the rest of the season due to the knee

the feat twice last season when she recorded 21 points against
Colgate on Nov. 24, 2009 and had 20 points against Long Island on
Jan. 16, 2010.
• Mann became the first player this season to turn the trick

• Christie became the third player this season to reach 20

season. The freshman posted a career-high 21 points against

• Junior Sandra Andresson currently sits in 55th place in
program history with 501 points and can move into 54th place with
16 points.
• Sophomore Sydney Henderson has 160 career points to sit in
85th place. She can move into 84th place with 13 points and 83rd
place with 15 points.
• Sophomore Selina Mann has 307 points for her career to rank
69th in team history and can move into 68th place with four points,
67th place with eight points and 66th place with 24 points.
• Freshman Ashley Christie has 243 points in her first season
to rank 75th in program history. The freshman can move into 74th

• Sophomore Tara Lonergan became the seventh player on the

1,000 games in program history... Mount St.
Mary's played its 1,000th game in program history on Jan. 8 against
Robert Morris.
• The Mount is 636-375 in program history.
bcs schools on the schedule... The first six
games in the 2010-11 campaign could have arguably been the toughest
start in program history.
• The Mount faced Atlantic Coast Conference member Virginia in
the season opener and Big East affiliates Cincinnati on Nov. 23 and
Pittsburgh on Dec. 4.
• It marked the first time since the 2000-01 season the Mount
will play three BCS schools when the squad faced Virginia (ACC),
Georgia Tech (ACC) and Seton Hall (Big East).
• Mount St. Mary's also played three big conference schools in
