• Senior F Siamone Bennett fueled the Bulldogs with 20 points,
including a layup with 1:25 left to put Bryant up for good, and 13
rebounds against the Knights. The sophomore tallied 22 points and
17 rebounds in a 74-66 loss to Maine on Nov. 19. Bennett ranks
second on the team with 9.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore G Meredith Soper narrowly missed a double-double
against Fairleigh Dickinson, finishing with nine points and 11
rebounds. The sophomore is third with 9.2 points and a team-best
7.4 rebounds per game.
• Sophomore G Danielle Douglas leads the team with 10.6 points
and 3.5 rebounds per game. Douglas has been the Bulldogs' leading
scorer eight times this season, including scoring eight points in a
59-48 victory against St. Francis (N.Y.) on Jan. 8.
• Sophomore G Katie Whittington ranks fourth on the team with
6.2 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. The sophomore registered 26
points in a 77-70 win against Colgate on Dec. 11.

St. Mary's 55-46 on Monday. Sophomore Selina Mann paced the Mount

St. Mary's jumped out to an 8-0 advantage and held an eight-point
advantage four times in the first 10 minutes before the Pioneers
used a 13-0 run to take the lead for good.
• Sophomore Selina Mann paced the Mount with 14 points and a
program-record 10 steals for her second career double-double.
Mann's first career double-double was also at Knott Arena against
Sacred Heart when she posted 12 points and 12 rebounds on Jan. 28,
2010. The sophomore tied Karla Green (at Richmond, Feb. 20, 1983)
and Kim Rhock (St. Francis (N.Y.), Feb. 13, 1990) as the only three
players in program history with double-digit thefts. She also
became the second player in program history to notch a
double-double with steals, although Rhock recorded a triple-double
against the Terriers (19 points, 14 rebounds, 10 steals). Mann has
posted five 10-point games in her last nine games and is averaging
10.6 points, 4.9 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game in
that stretch.
• Senior Mary Dunn added 11 points and six rebounds against

• The squad has battled five of the Top-6 teams in its first
eight games. St. Francis (N.Y.) is the only team the Mountaineers

• Five of the next seven games are scheduled against teams
with losing record while Central Connecticut State and Long Island
are 4-4 and tied for sixth in NEC play.

Sacred Heart placed third ahead of the defending NEC Tournament

while Monmouth nabbed the final first-place vote to finish fifth in

Mary's played its 1,000th game in program history on Jan. 8 against

• The Mount is 633-372 in program history.
bcs schools on the schedule... The first six
games in the 2010-11 campaign could have arguably been the toughest
start in program history.
• The Mount faced Atlantic Coast Conference member Virginia in
the season opener and Big East affiliates Cincinnati on Nov. 23 and
Pittsburgh on Dec. 4.
• It marked the first time since the 2000-01 season the Mount
will play three BCS schools when the squad faced Virginia (ACC),
