against Central Connecticut State on Jan. 15, including the
game-winning 3-pointer as time expired. The sophomore ranks second
on the team with 11.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
• Senior C Courtney Kaminski, the current NEC Player of the
Week, added 21 points against Bryant. The senior scored 32 points
in the win against the Blue Devils. Kaminski leads the team with
13.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
• Freshman F Brittany McQuain added 13 points and eight
rebounds on Monday. The freshman is fourth on the team with 7.5
points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
• Junior G Kari Goodchild also had 13 points against the
Bulldogs. Goodchild is averaging 6.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per
game.

points and seven rebounds. Kayla Grossett added 15 points and eight

Blackbirds started the second half on a 22-2 run to grab a 52-30
lead with 9:44 left, Mount St. Mary's stormed back with a 22-3 run
to trim the deficit to 55-52 with 2:31 remaining. Freshman Jessie
Kaufman had a 3-pointer rim in and out for the chance to tie and
the Mount could get no closer the rest of the way.
• Kaufman paced the Mount with a career-high 14points after
connecting on 5 of her 10 shots including 4 of 7 from behind the
arc.
• Kaufman became the third freshman in the weekend to register
a new personal best. Fellow freshmen Ashley Christie and Kayla
Grossett each had career days at St. Francis (N.Y.) on Jan. 15.
Christie fueled the squad with 19 points while Grossett added 16

• Christie, who had a career-high six assists against Long
Island, has seven double-digit games this season including in three
of the squad's four wins. Grossett has recorded three double-figure
performances in her last five games, including 15 points against
Quinnipiac on Jan. 4.
• Senior Mary Dunn added 13 points against the Blackbirds. The
senior has posted double figures in five of the six conference
games this season and ranks fifth with 14.2 points per game in NEC
games. The senior needs 22 points to move into 23rd place on the
program's all-time scoring list and 10 rebounds to jump into eighth

squad is 1-13 when it goes into the locker room down and 3-0 when

Sydney Henderson scored a career-high 17 points against Virginia on

• Junior Sandra Andresson currently sits in 59th place in
program history with 437 points and can move into 58th place with
12 points.
• Sophomore Sydney Henderson has 160 career points to sit in
85th place. She can move into 84th place with 13 points and 83rd

• Sophomore Selina Mann has 238 points for her career to rank
76th in team history and can move into 74th place with one

• Freshman Ashley Christie has 153 points in her first season

1,000 games in program history... Mount St.
Mary's played its 1,000th game in program history on Jan. 8 against

• The Mount is 633-370 in program history.
bcs schools on the schedule... The first six
games in the 2010-11 campaign could have arguably been the toughest
start in program history.
• The Mount faced Atlantic Coast Conference member Virginia in
the season opener and Big East affiliates Cincinnati on Nov. 23 and
Pittsburgh on Dec. 4.
• It marked the first time since the 2000-01 season the Mount
will play three BCS schools when the squad faced Virginia (ACC),
Georgia Tech (ACC) and Seton Hall (Big East).
• Mount St. Mary's also played three big conference schools in

Kaufman, Ashley Christie, Rachel Mathews and Kayla Grossett each
knocked down their first career shot attempt in the game against
Virginia.
• Kaufman gave the Mount a 3-2 lead with a 3-pointer 35
seconds into the game and Christie nailed 3-ball of her own to
reclaim the lead for the Mountaineers at 6-4 with 18:28 left in the
first half.
• Mathews recorded a 3-point play the traditional way after
scoring a layup at 15:55 and then converting the free throw to give
Mount St. Mary's a 9-7 advantage.
• Grossett nailed a 3-pointer on her first collegiate attempt
at 5:25 in the second half.
in their debut... The five freshmen each saw
action against Virginia on Nov. 14.
• Ashley Christie and Jessie Kaufman both made their
collegiate debut in the starting lineup. Christie posted 13 points,
including 10 in the second half, along with two rebounds and two
assists. Kaufman had eight points, three rebounds, an assist and a
block.
• Kayla Grossett, Rachel Mathews and Kelly Guerriero each saw
time off the bench. Grossett had six points and two rebounds while
Mathews had three points, three rebounds and an assist. Guerriero
played the final 1:55 and missed her own shot attempt. Guerriero
notched her first collegiate point in the second half against
American on Nov. 17.

is 74-115 in non-conference games since joining the Northeast

Arena, Mount St. Mary's has posted a 204-100 overall mark,

since moving across Route 15 from Memorial Gym.
